Your privacy is our core commitment. destinAI does not collect, store, or share your personal story content. Your narratives stay on your device.

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how destinAI ("we", "our", "the App") handles your information. We are committed to transparency and to minimising data collection. This policy applies to all versions of the destinAI iOS application.

2. What We Collect

The following table describes what data is collected and why:

3. What We Do NOT Collect

We explicitly do not collect:

Your name, email address, or any account information
The content of your stories, choices, or narrative outputs
Your location
Your contacts, camera, microphone, or photos
Advertising identifiers (IDFA) — we do not run ads

All game progress, story history, and credit counts are stored locally on your device only using iOS secure storage.

4. Third-Party Services

destinAI integrates two third-party services:

RevenueCat — Subscription management. Privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy
Google Gemini API — AI story generation. Your inputs are sent to Google's servers to generate story content. Google may process these according to their API usage policies: policies.google.com/privacy

5. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

On first launch, destinAI may request permission to track your device for analytics purposes via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. If you decline, the App functions fully without any change in experience. We do not use tracking for advertising.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

All data stored locally on your device can be deleted at any time by uninstalling the App. Any data held by RevenueCat (purchase records) is governed by RevenueCat's data retention policy. We do not independently retain copies of your purchase data.

7. Children's Privacy

destinAI is rated 17+ on the App Store due to mature narrative themes. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the App, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
