1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what data the GymBook iOS app processes, where it is stored and the controls available to users. GymBook is a personal workout logging application.
2. Data you enter
GymBook may process workout programs, exercises, weights, repetitions, workout dates, body measurements, estimated body-fat results and unit preferences. GymBook does not create a separate user account and does not request your name, phone number or location.
3. Storage and iCloud
Data is stored on your device with SwiftData. When iCloud is available, workout and measurement records sync through the private CloudKit database associated with your Apple Account. If iCloud is unavailable, GymBook may continue using local storage.
4. Sales, advertising and third parties
GymBook does not sell personal data, share it for advertising or include third-party advertising or behavioral analytics SDKs. Data is not disclosed unless required by law.
5. Health information
Measurements and body-fat estimates are for personal tracking only. GymBook is not a medical device and does not provide diagnosis, treatment or professional health advice.
6. Your controls and deletion
You can edit or delete records in the app and use Profile → Settings → Reset All Data. When iCloud sync is active, deletion may propagate to other devices. Removing the app does not necessarily remove synced iCloud records, allowing them to return after reinstalling.
7. Children
GymBook does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Users below the applicable digital-consent age should use the app with parental supervision.
8. Policy changes
This policy may be updated when app features or legal requirements change. The current effective date is shown above.
