1. Acceptance
By downloading or using GymBook, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Purpose of the service
GymBook helps users record workout programs, set weights, repetitions and personal body measurements. Features may be added, changed or removed over time.
3. Health and safety
Default programs, calculations, charts and estimated one-rep max values are provided for general information and personal tracking. Consult a qualified professional before beginning exercise when appropriate. Stop exercising and seek help if you experience pain, dizziness or unusual symptoms.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use GymBook only for lawful personal purposes and not to interfere with the app's security, reverse engineer it unlawfully or violate the rights of others.
5. User data and iCloud
You are responsible for the accuracy of entered data and the security of your device and Apple Account. Sync depends on Apple's CloudKit service and may be delayed by network, account or service interruptions.
6. Intellectual property
The GymBook name, design, logo, software and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Users retain ownership of the workout and measurement data they create.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
GymBook is provided “as is” and “as available.” Continuous, error-free operation is not guaranteed. To the extent permitted by law, GymBook is not liable for indirect losses arising from exercise decisions, data loss, iCloud interruptions or use of the app.
8. Ending use
You may stop using GymBook by deleting the app. Synced data may remain in iCloud and can be managed through the in-app reset tool or Apple's iCloud settings.
9. Changes
These terms may be updated as the app or legal requirements change. Continued use means acceptance of the current terms.
